 m of the evening is to gain insight into developments in the financial sec
 tor. Have a look below to find out which speakers will be joining us\, an
  exciting line-up you won’t want to miss! Harold Naus is the former CEO 
 of Cardano Netherlands\, a role he held for more than a decade. He began s
 tudying Physics at TU Eindhoven and developed his career through various r
 oles at both ING\, Cardano\, and Hemingway\, gradually becoming an expert 
 in risk management. During his tenure\, he led the company through complex
  financial environments\, specialising in risk &amp\; asset Management. Hi
 s experience offers unique insights in how challenges in asset management 
 are tackled. Damiaan Jacobovits de Szeged is the current Chief Financial a
 nd Transformation Officer of Aegon Asset Management\, on top of that\, he 
 is also the CEO of Aegon Investment Management. Damiaan earned his Master
 ’s degree of Economics at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and his Master
 's degree Banking and Finance at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonn
 e. After his studies\, he started at JPMorgan\, where he worked for over a
  decade\, pursuing the roles of Vice President\, Associate\, and analyst. 
 In his career\, Damiaan specialised in asset management\, providing valuab
 le insights about investment strategy and navigating challenges in the fin
 ancial markets. The Chair of the Day is our own Daan Tavenier\, lecturer C
 orporate Finance at the RUG. He specializes in corporate finance and M&am
 p\;A. For over two decades he worked at consultancy firm Argumentix where 
 he is the current CFO\, and is also a partner at consultancy firm Slingers
 troom. With his extensive knowledge and experiences Daan will bridge the p
 erspectives of Harold and Damiaan\, engaging discussion on the future of
  finance. This evening\, the doors will open at 18:30 and start at 18:45
