Annemarie de Wit
Hi everyone! My name is Annemarie de Wit, I'm 21 and was raised in Delden. This year I am the internal relations of the FSG Board. In my spare time I enjoy reading and getting together with my friends. Currently, I am in my third year of the BSc International Business, a study I have thoroughly enjoyed for the past three years. After also enjoying the student life for 2 years, I was looking to gain more practical skills next to my studies. That's how I found FSG, where I joined in the conference Day Organisation committee. I really enjoyed this because the association offers a great balance between formal and informal activities. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and cooking. Because after all the fun social activities of FSG, I like to pull back and enjoy the comfort of a good book with a delicious hot meal. During my board year, I hope to become more self-aware and develop my personal skills further.
The internal relations of the FSG Board is responsible for the contact with students, the primary target group of FSG. You are the contact person for (active) members and responsible for bringing the association under the attention of new students. Besides, the internal coordinator is responsible for the promotion and ensures the corporate identity is consistently used. To ensure this, you will guide the committees with promoting their events.
Next to the promotion of FSG, you are responsible for the recruitment of new active members. FSG has two recruitment periods every year. Prior to these periods, you will coordinate the promotion and have coffee meetings with students who are interested in becoming an active member. Also, you plan and conduct the interviews and finally select the new active members.
Moreover, you organise a large number of informal activities, such as parties and the active members weekend. Next to informal activities, you also organise trainings for active members.
As the internal relations you meet many new people, which helps you develop your communicative skills quickly. Besides, you should be able to plan, keep the overview and work precisely. Also, assertiveness and creativity are of great importance.
