Why Attend?
Financial Talks is inspired by the well-known Ted Talks. The aim of the evening is to gain insight into developments in the financial sector. The Chairman of the upcoming Financial Talks is Roelof Salomons. Salomons is the chief investment strategist/managing director at Blackrock and a part-time professor at the RUG.
Our first speaker is Dick van Ommeren; he is CEO at Triodos Bank. Van Ommeren is a Senior leader with a proven track record in designing and executing strategic change in financial services. Strong analytic and financial skills combined with vast experience in commercial and business management responsibilities. We will end the event with some free drinks and snacks!
Our second speaker is Judith Sanders, who has been a sustainable investment strategist at ABN AMRO since June 2018. She is an experienced investment specialist with a special focus on sustainable investing. Judith wrote various financial blogs and columns and published a book in 2017: 'Shall I do it differently? Why women are better with money'.
DUFAS
This edition of Financial Talks is organised together with DUFAS. DUFAS stands for the Dutch Fund and Asset Management Association. DUFAS has been committed to a healthy asset management sector in the Netherlands since 2003. DUFAS represents more than 50 members, from large asset managers who invest in Dutch pension and insurance assets to smaller, specialist asset managers and service providers, such as accounting firms and law firms that are part of the ecosystem of the asset management market. DUFAS also increases awareness of the social relevance of investing through these colleges.
This evening, the doors will open at 18:30 and start at 18:45. We will end the evening with some drinks at 22:00.
