An accounting specialist analyses the key developments in financial reports and participates in projects to automate standardized controls. In this position accounting processes are improved continuously to comply with tomorrow’s standards.

Your activities

You analyse financial information, maintain complete records while adhering to the strict accounting standards. Knowledge of accounting and a passion for numbers is needed to be successful in this role. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Monitoring of billing, payments, and reconciliation processes

• Preparing statutory financial statements and all other regulatory reports

• Supporting the statutory and tax audits

• Resolving the identified bottlenecks in accounting processes that fall under your responsibility

• Providing management, internal and external auditors the results of reconciliation and controls applied on transactions in your accounts

• Assisting the accounting department in daily, monthly, and annual activities, including generating financial reports, developing budgets, and preparing taxes

• Continuously improving the annual report, interim and financial statements and SEC reporting

• Advising management on the impact of changes during the implementation of statutory requirements

• You have 0-3 years of work experience and want to learn everything about accounting

• You want to put the skills into practice that you have acquired during your master’s or PhD in Finance, Accounting, Economics or another related study

• You are passionate about numbers and data and always see opportunities for improvement

• You do not hesitate to use your analytical skills to solve complex problems creatively and logically

• You enjoy working in changing environments and like to be involved in multiple projects at the same time
