Job Description:

Are you a couple of years underway in your Econometrics study or in a STEM study and would you like to experience what it is like to work at NIBC? We have created the opportunity for enthusiastic students to come and work within our Treasury department. 

What will you do? 

You will join the Treasury Money Markets & Trading (MM&T) desk for 6 to 12 months for one or two days a week in our office in The Hague. You will work on one single assignment. There are four different assignments available ranging in topic and difficulty level. The topics will be shared in the course of the application process. Which topic you will work on depends on your competencies and your interests. 

Your team 

The MM&T desk is part of the Treasury department of NIBC. The desk is responsible for the execution of FX/CCY products, money market products and interest rate derivatives. Besides this day-to-day operational work, the desk provides colleagues with economic and market intelligence and works on a wide variety of projects (strategic, regulatory, IT, etc.).

What do you bring? 

• Couple of years into university, either Econometrics or a STEM study; 
• English speaking and writing (fluent), Dutch speaking and writing is an advantage; 
• Programming skills, preferably VB(A) and/or Python.
