David van Elsdingen
Hi! My name is David van Elsdingen, and I am this year’s External Relations board member for the Financial Study Association Groningen (FSG). I was born and raised in Utrecht but moved to Groningen to study Business Administration. In my second year, I specialised in Accountancy & Control and joined the Conference Committee, where I discovered my passion for organising impactful events. After thoroughly enjoying my time in the committee, I decided to take on the challenge of a board year. In my spare time, you’ll often find me on the tennis or padel court, combining sports with relaxation.
As the External Relations board member, my main responsibility is maintaining relationships with our partners. I ensure that the right companies are matched with the right events, fostering meaningful connections between students and professionals. I am also responsible for generating the funds needed to keep FSG running smoothly, including providing free drinks at our socials! It’s a dynamic role, often requiring me to balance multiple interests, but that’s precisely what makes it so exciting and rewarding.
Beyond partnerships, I focus on enhancing existing events and developing new initiatives to ensure FSG remains innovative and relevant to its members and partners. This variety makes every day different and keeps the role both challenging and engaging.
